Mercedes-Benz has already showed us the 2018 S-Class sedan. Now it’s time to unveil the sportier two-door coupe and cabriolet versions. The two-door car still follows its predecessor’s design and shape. However, this time, the carmaker has tweaked the front to give the car a sportier stance.
Move on from the aggressive bumpers and cast an eye towards the headlamps. Here you will notice, the cluster shape remains unchanged, but the internals are new, thus adding to its appeal.
The AMG variant of the S-Class Cabriolet features the outlandish ‘Panamericana’ grille with vertical slats. However, it’s more purposeful as it helps in cooling down the engines as well.
On the other hand, the regular models of the open-top car get the usual chrome infused grille. This one isn’t as aggressive or sporty looking, but it still adds to the flair.
As for changes at the back, Mercedes-Benz has reworked on the bumpers. They nicely combine that sporty yet luxurious feel with the chrome-plated quad exhausts and revised sills.
The new OLED tail lamps get 66 OLED elements that are individually controllable. They overlap each other and curve around the internals. Furthermore, they light up in sequence to add to the glamour.
