An unclaimed bag was found on a seat of an Air India flight today morning at Delhi airport sending the security forces into a tizzy.
Just when Air India’s flight AI-678 was preparing to fly from Delhi to Mumbai, passengers located an unattended bag inside the cabin.
The cabin crew called out for the owner of the bag but no one turned up to own it following which the ground staff was informed.
The bag was then handed over to security forces to further investigation.
However, a statement from Air India rejected reports of there being a bomb scare. “The information is wrong. There is no bomb scare. AI-678’s schedule time takeoff time is 9 am. Flight was reschedule at 10 am. The flight departed at 10.20 am. 10 min delay was due to ATC,” the statement said.
