NEW DELHI: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday alleged that the standard of education in Delhi government schools had “fallen” and four lakh students who failed were denied readmission in these institutions. The party also alleged that the AAP government had recently written to the parents of government school students asking them not to vote for BJP.

At a press conference held at the Delhi BJP office, Union minister Vijay Goel and party MPs Ramesh Bidhuri and Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma were accompanied by a group of such students who recently failed in class IX and were not re-admitted. The Aam Aadmi Party, meanwhile, did not react to the allegations and claims of the BJP leaders.
